Psychometry – The act of receiving information from an object. Relevant impressions are gathered from making physical contact with an unfamiliar object.
Remote Viewing – The act of receiving impressions about a distant or unseen subject. The subject could be a person, location, or an event that is undisclosed to the psychic.
Telepathy – Communication through the power of thought. Sending information without the use of the 5 known senses.
Psychic – Someone who receives information without the use of the known 5 senses – hearing, tasting, touching, seeing, and smelling. Psychics use the ability of the mind to gather knowledge.
Astral Projection – An out-of-body experience. This may be achieved at will. Psychics use this technique when practicing remote viewing.
Mental Projection – The ability to transform mental images to the physical plane. One projects emotions, thoughts, or ideas.
Aura Reading – The act of seeking knowledge from the subtle energy field that surrounds the body. A person’s aura contains information about them.
Clairvoyance – French for clear vision. A psychic vision or mental image obtained with the third eye.
Clairaudience – Clear hearing. The ability to hear information that is not near. This could be voices, songs, bells, beeps, or many other types of sounds. Some actually experience clairaudience as a physical event. Others describe it as only a thought if sound in their heads.
Clairsentience – Clear sensing. The ability to sense or feel emotions. Also may be referred to as a “gut feeling.” Or, clairsentience may be a chill that runs up the spine.
